Take 5 with our Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in Northern Ireland and many women will find themselves coming to the Cancer Centre in Belfast for their treatment.  For many of these women, our Clinical Nurse Specialist for breast cancer will become a significant and really important part of their experience.  Elaine works with two of the breast consultants in the hospital and she is on hand from a patient’s first appointment right through their treatment to offer advice, guidance and support.

Elaine’s post is vital and it makes a big difference to the lives of hundreds of women every year.  Her post is made possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters and every penny you raise will allow us to support Elaine, our other specialist cancer nurses and hopefully more vital nursing posts in the future.
