The team at Friends of the Cancer Centre are passionate about the charity and the difference it makes to the lives of people locally.
Each member of the team brings with them a wealth of experience from the voluntary, public and private sectors and each is committed to driving the charity forward for the benefit of patients and our supporters.

Colleen, who has over 20 years experience in the voluntary sector in Northern Ireland, has been chief executive since 2005 and she is responsible for the day to day running and governance of the charity.
Communications & Project Manager
Nuala joined the team in 2013 and manages the PR for the charity. She has over 10 years experience in the public relations industry and is responsible for the internal and external communications for the charity.
Head of Fundraising
Ana joined the team in 2016 and is responsible for developing the charity’s fundraising activities. She has over 17 years of fundraising experience and works alongside our community and corporate supporters, raising funds and awareness.
Finance & Admin Manager
Dawn is responsible for managing all aspects of the charity’s finances, and works closely with the Belfast Trust, our CEO and Trustee Board. Dawn also oversees the administration of all donations made to the charity.
Project & Engagement Officer
Lauren oversees the management of our funded projects and is responsible for building relationships with the 35 members of staff funded by the charity. She also assists Nuala with internal and external communications.
Amy is responsible for managing several of the charity’s fundraising events and supporting our community fundraisers. She works alongside Ana developing the charity’s fundraising group and volunteer network, and creating new fundraising initiatives.
Rebecca assists Dawn with the charity’s finances and helps manage the financial aspects of the charity’s funded projects. She also works closely with the hospital’s social work team to facilitate the Patient Grants Programme.
