Sprucefield Centre’s Winter Wonderland supports local families

Things are getting busy for Santa, who is busy meeting and greeting children and young people at Grotto’s across the country. Recently, we were delighted to be at the opening of Sprucefield Shopping Centre’s Winter Wonderland Cabin. The grotto is now officially open to the public and is completely free, but visitors can make a donation to Friends of the Cancer Centre if they wish. Last year, £5,629 was donated to support local families affected by cancer.

Sprucefield Centre Manager, Tim Honeyford said:

‘Santa arriving at Sprucefield to take his annual place in our Grotto is always an exciting occasion and this year he had some very special helpers guiding him towards his cabin. As always visiting Santa is absolutely free for everyone, but for those who would like to make a donation, they can do so in the knowledge that the proceeds will help Friends of the Cancer Centre support even more families in Northern Ireland.’
