Show your support this World Cancer Day

On Monday, 4th February people around the world will come together to show their support for people affected by cancer on World Cancer Day.

We are calling on people across Northern Ireland to get involved to show their support for cancer patients and their families in Northern Ireland by buying a Friends of the Cancer Centre wristband and wearing it with pride on World Cancer Day. Not only will you be showing your support for local patients, but all money donated from the price of a wristband will go towards our life- saving and life- changing work in Northern Ireland.

How your support can make a difference

Wearing a wristband will not only show the world that you support Friends of the Cancer Centre and our patients, but money donated from the cost of a wristband will also support our vital work which directly benefits thousands of people across Northern Ireland.

The power of Team Friends

Every person and every wristband has the power to make a big difference to our work. The more people who get behind us this World Cancer Day the more we can do to make sure cancer patients have the support they need when they need it most. Check out just how big a difference your wristband can make:

• 1 wristband = could buy 5 cups of tea or coffee for patients waiting for treatment at the Cancer Centre’s Bridgewater Suite.
• 5 wristbands = could go towards supporting a cancer patient financially through Friends of the Cancer Centre’s Grant Programme.
• 10 wristbands = could play a vital part in local research and help support the latest developments in cancer treatment

Get your family and friends involved

The more people who get involved and wear a wristband the better, so get your family, friends, colleagues or club to get involved too! When ordering your wristband just amend the quantity you would like in PayPal and we’ll send you out as many as you need.
