Slieve Donard Challenge
Saturday 14th September 2024

Join #TeamFriends on Saturday 14th September to hike Slieve Donard, the highest peak of the Mourne Mountains, and also Northern Ireland’s highest peak.
Climbing Slieve Donard is a great challenge which will have you reaching the peak which stands at a whopping 2,789 feet tall.

On a clear day, you will be rewarded with extraordinary views of all around from the summit. It’s a great day out, and one you can complete with friends, family or colleagues.

By taking part you will also be making a real difference to local families impacted by cancer in Northern Ireland.

Registration: £25 per person

Sponsorship: £75 minimum sponsorship

The sponsorship money raised helps fund our vital support services to patients and their families across Northern Ireland. For example, your sponsorship raised at this event could provide 3 sessions of complimentary therapy sessions to cancer patients to alleviate stress, anxiety and side effects of treatment.

Once you have registered, you will receive an automatic email with a link to pay your registration fee of £25 via PayPal. Once paid, the fundraising team will be in touch with further information and a free fundraising pack!
Please note, participants must be aged 12 to take part in this challenge and must be accompanied by an adult also completing the challenge, until 18 years old. For participants under 18 years old, a medical consent form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
