We are delighted to announce that our scholarships programme for 2023 is now open for applications. Scholarships are available to fund up to £2000 towards a training or educational course, or academic or training related travel.
Three scholarships are available:
The scholarships provide funding for cancer services staff to enhance and improve their skills, helping them both to further their own careers, and provide enhanced benefit for local people affected by cancer. Applications which demonstrate the greatest potential benefit for cancer patients will be looked upon most favourably by the judging panel.
Our scholarships have all been named and dedicated to late friends and colleagues in the Northern Ireland Cancer Centre, who themselves always strived for professional excellence for the good of local cancer patients.
To apply for any of the scholarships above, please send an updated CV and a covering letter, describing in 500 words or less, the training or educational course you are interested in undertaking and why you should be awarded the scholarship.
