The Wish Upon A Star Winter Walk is a perfect chance to take some time out of a busy month, to get together with friends and family, to show your support to those who are currently receiving treatment, to celebrate those who finished treatment, or to remember those who are no longer with us. By supporting this event, you are helping to raise vital funds which will be put back into local cancer services supporting local people across Northern Ireland.
The walk begins at the NI Cancer Centre, and will loop around the beautiful Botanic Gardens, before returning to the Cancer Centre, where you will be greeted with live Christmas music and festive refreshments. Christmas jumpers encouraged! There may even be a very special visit from Mr Claus!
You will also have the opportunity to Wish Upon A Star and hang your very own star on the Cancer Centre Christmas tree with a personal message or wish written on it.
This walk is a gentle and flat 2.5km, so it is perfect for all ages and abilities and is also suitable for wheelchairs and prams. Unfortunately no dogs permitted.
Registration is £15 per adult and £7 per child (under 12), with a suggested sponsorship of £30

For those who have already registered, or if you are registering on the day, the walk begins at 2pm, so if all participants can arrive for 1:45pm to get checked in, before setting off to Botanic Gardens as a group.
