Grow it or Mow it

We're calling on all you men across Northern Ireland to grow or shave your moustache or beard this November to raise vital funds to support men affected by cancer.

Today in Northern Ireland 3 men will be told they have prostate cancer.

Thanks to your support these men are not alone and Friends of the Cancer Centre is here to ensure that they have the best treatment and care available.  We are also working towards a day when prostate cancer can be beaten for good through our work in cancer research and believe it or not, much of the groundbreaking developments in how to better treat prostate cancer are happening right here in Northern Ireland.  Friends of the Cancer Centre, through our partnership with the Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology at Queen's University, is playing a vital role in this fight by funding vital posts which enable groundbreaking and world-leading research and clinical trials to be developed. You can read more about some of the exciting research here.

All of this is made possible thanks to the incredible support we receive from the public and that is why we need you this November.

We want men across Northern Ireland to support their fathers, brothers, uncles, friends, colleagues and all those affected by prostate cancer.

So if you would like to Grow it or Mow it, just email us info@friendsofthecancercentre.com to request your fundraising pack.
