Santa Skydive 2018
Pull on your Santa suit and take to the skies for the ultimate fundraising challenge this December.
Our Santa Skydive takes place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December 2018 and we want you to be one of the brave people to take to the sky to raise money for the charity. On the day you'll be attached to an instructor as they guide you safely from 10,000ft back to solid ground. This is one for thrill seekers out there and an experience that you will never forget.
Friends of the Cancer Centre’s CEO, Colleen Shaw took part in the Skydive in 2016 and is asking people from across Northern Ireland to take the leap and raise vital funds for local people affected by cancer. Colleen says:
“I’ve always wanted to do a skydive but after my younger sister, Margaret sadly passed away from cancer I knew I had to take the plunge and do it for her. The charity has been supporting local people affected by cancer for over 30 years and I would urge anyone who is interested in skydiving to register today.
“Whilst I was a little nervous it was an incredible experience and I enjoyed every single second. I’ll never forget it and I still have a real sense of achievement for doing it.”
Our Santa skydive takes place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December. Registration for the event is £40 and each participant is asked to raise a minimum of £380 sponsorship, of which £220 is the cost of their skydive. There is also a £40 insurance fee payable on the day of the skydive. If you would like more information about this event, please call 028 9069 9393 or click on the link below.
