Santa Skydive 2018
Pull on your Santa suit and take to the skies for the ultimate fundraising challnege this December.
Our Santa Skydive takes place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December 2018 and we want you to be of the brave people to take to the sky to raise money for the charity. On the day you'll be safely attached to an instructor as they guide you safely from 10,000ft back to solid ground. This is one for thrill seekers out there and an experience that you will never forget.
Laura Croan, Friends of the Cancer Centre’s Lymphoma Clinical Nurse Specialist, took part in our Santa Skydive. She said:
“I’ve always wanted to do a skydive and when I heard about Friends of the Cancer Centre’s I knew I had to it. Friends of the Cancer Centre have been funding my post for over two years so this was also a way to say thank you to the charity for their support, not only for what they do for me but for my patients too.
“If anyone out there is thinking about it but is maybe a little unsure or scared, I would say go for it! It was such an incredible experience and I enjoyed every single second. I’ll never forget it and I still feel a real sense of achievement for doing it. I actually loved it that much that I’m planning on doing it again, but this time on my own without an instructor!”
Our Santa skydive takes place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December. Registration for the event is £40 and each participant is asked to raise a minimum of £380 sponsorship, of which £220 is the cost of their skydive. There is also a £40 insurance fee payable on the day of the skydive. If you would like more information about this event, please call 028 9069 9393 or click on the link below.
