Running Events

Have you signed up for a walking or running event? You can raise vital funds for Friends of the Cancer Centre while taking part in any event in Northern Ireland and beyond ! 

Below are a few examples of upcoming events, these are subject to change given the current Covid-19 guidelines. If you are taking part in a different event or completing your own virtual challenge please still get in touch with us as we would love to support you in any way possible. 

Belfast City Half Marathon - Saturday 1st to Monday 3rd May 2021

The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon will be virtual event in May due to COVID-19 and ongoing restrictions. All registrants will be able to complete their run (in the one session) from Saturday 1st May - Monday 3rd May 2021. In addition there will be a 5K event for any runners, joggers or walkers to complete. Entries close midnight 23rd April. Antrim Coast Half Marathon - Sunday 29th August 2021

The P&O Antrim Coast Half Marathon is the fastest half-marathon in Ireland and one of the fastest courses in Europe. Starting at the beginning of the iconic Antrim Coast Road, the course sweeps into Larne harbour and through Larne town before moving onto the world famous Antrim Coast Road. The coast’s stunning landscapes featuring in many movies and television series, including HBO’s Game of Thrones, who used the area extensively as one of the filming locations. Belfast City Marathon - Sunday 19th September 2021 

The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon is one of the leading marathons in the UK and Ireland and is an AIMS certified race. The race will start at Stormont at 9am and finish in Ormeau Park. Register before June 30th to receive a discounted price, entries close 31st August.
