Lurgan Park walk

Our Dromore Fundraising Group are holding their annual sponsored 5K walk in the beautiful Lurgan Park on Tuesday, 13th August to help support our work with local people affected by cancer.

Lurgan Park is Northern Ireland's largest and most beautiful urban park and the second largest public park in Ireland and enjoyed by as many as 2000 people every day. The beautifully landscaped parkland contains a number of well maintained paths which provide excellent walking and running ground.  Visitors can enjoy the cast-iron Coalbrookdale Fountain and Lurgan Lake, where participants will get the opportunity to see the wildlife and swans as we walk the route.

The registration fee is £5 per person and children under the age of 12 go free. On the day registration opens at 6.45pm with the walk will setting off at 7pm. Complimentary tea, coffee and traybakes are available at the end of the walk. Every penny raised through sponsorship will help make a difference to the lives of local people affected by cancer here in Northern Ireland.
