Join #TeamFriends and battle it out on the River Lagan to be crowned champions of the water!
After a number of years since our last hurrah on the River Lagan we are delighted to be holding a Dragon Boat event in 2025, this is sure to be an adrenaline filled, unforgettable day that will bring out the competitive side in everyone!
Each boat holds 18 people (minimum of 12 is required) and is ideal for clubs, organisations and businesses to take part in to both raise vital funds and have a great team day out too!
Helmed by a qualified instructor, each team will take part in 2 timed head to head races with the quickest team moving on to the next round, getting one step closer to a nail biting final. There will be a DJ throughout the day to keep the motivation going as well as a BBQ to keep you fuelled!
The sponsorship money raised helps fund our vital support services to patients and their families across Northern Ireland. For example, your sponsorship raised at this event could provide 80 complementary therapy session to patients or an incredible 80 hours of care from one of the charity's specialist nurses.

Friends of the Cancer Centre are holding the Dragon Boat Race in conjunction with The Children’s Cancer Unit Charity. Team sponsorship will go solely to the charity the team has registered with.
