We are delighted to announce that our scholarships 2024 are now open for applications.
The scholarships are open to all those working in Cancer or Haematology services, and the award of £2000 can be used towards a training or educational course, and related travel.
There are three scholarships available:
Since 2008, Friends of the Cancer Centre has been investing in the training and development of staff through the charity’s prestigious scholarships. Our scholarships have all been named and dedicated to late friends and colleagues in the Northern Ireland Cancer Centre, who themselves always strived for professional excellence for the good of local cancer patients.
The scholarships provide funding for staff to enhance and improve their skills, as well as benefitting local people affected by cancer. Applications which demonstrate the greatest potential benefit for cancer patients will be looked upon most favourably by the judging panel.
Please send an updated CV and a cover letter, of no more than 500 words, detailing what you would use the scholarship towards, to [email protected].
The closing date for applications is Monday 14th October 2024.
Informal queries can be submitted to [email protected]. For any further information please call Lauren on 028 9069 9393.
