40 years of care and support

This year marks Friends of the Cancer Centre’s 40th anniversary and an opportunity to celebrate four decades of supporting families impacted by cancer in Northern Ireland.

For Friends of the Cancer Centre, 2025 is so much more than an anniversary.  It is our opportunity to share the significant impact and positive changes your support is making for local people with cancer. Thanks to you, thousands more people every year have access to a specialist nurse who supports them through their treatment; hundreds of families receive financial support to help them heat their homes, and the charity’s investment into local research is giving more people the opportunity to take part in clinical trials which could give them precious time with their loved ones.

We are more than a charity. We're Friends

How your donations will make a difference

1 person donating £4

Your gift of £4 is so much more than a cup of tea. It is a welcome distraction and warm comfort for 17 people as they wait for an appointment or treatment.

2 friends donating £4 each

could help the charity provide an activity pack for a child attending the hospital for treatment,.

6 friends donating £4 each

could help provide one hour of vital nursing care from one of Friends of the Cancer Centre’s specialist nurses.
